Docklands Toastmasters Club
Monday 22nd March 2010

Our next meeting is on Monday 22nd March from 6:30pm.

6:30pm - Once again the warm up session will get underway between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.
This part of the night gives everyone a chance to speak in a casual, relaxed and fun way. At our last session our small meeting space was full with 'no chair to spare' and everyone still had a chance to speak.

7:00pm - the night's regular speaking program commences.

Our full program starts with Table Topics, which is a great forum to practise impromptu speaking and develop speaking skills. Not to mention a fun part of the night filled with humour.

We then move onto our Club Members 'Prepared Speeches'. Time permitting, our goal is to squeeze in up to three(3) prepared speeches on the night.

The meeting will be finish by 8pm.

More about Toastmasters:

Toastmaster meetings provide a great 'stage' to practise public speaking, in a relaxed, no pressure, friendly environment. Everyone at Toastmasters has the same 'goal'; To improve public speaking and leadership skills.

Docklands Toastmasters is one of many clubs that make up Toastmasters International. With the Toastmasters International educational program as a guide, members work together to achieve each person’s individual goals.

We meet in the HUB @ DOCKLANDS community facility. You can find the 'HUB @ DOCKLANDS' near the corner of Bourke and Harbour Esplanade in the city side suburb of Docklands. (Look for a red building.)
