Docklands Toastmasters Club
Monday 12th April 2010

Our next meeting is on Monday 12th April from 6:30pm.

6:30pm - The night will begin with a few 'warm up' games between 6:30pm and 7:00pm.
This part of the night gives everyone a chance to speak in a casual, relaxed and fun way. At our last session there was quite a bit of energy, enthusiam and involvement with the Club's newest game. Be at the next meeting to find out more.

7:00pm - the night's regular speaking program commences.

Our full program starts with Table Topics, a chance for impromptu speaking. Always a fun part of the night.

Then the Club Members 'Prepared Speeches'. Time permitting, our goal is to squeeze in up to three(3) prepared speeches on the night.

We aim to finish by 8pm.

More about Toastmasters:

Toastmaster meetings provide a great 'stage' to practise public speaking, in a relaxed, no pressure, friendly environment. Everyone at Toastmasters has the same 'goal'; To improve public speaking and leadership skills.

Docklands Toastmasters is one of many clubs that make up Toastmasters International. With the Toastmasters International educational program as a guide, members work together to achieve each person’s individual goals.

We meet in the HUB @ DOCKLANDS community facility. You can find the 'HUB @ DOCKLANDS' near the corner of Bourke and Harbour Esplanade in the city side suburb of Docklands. (Look for a red building.)
